Leonard Iacono, president of the company, founded Daisy Construction Company almost 30 yeas ago. The company was known as Daisy Concrete at that time. Today the company has diversified into three divisions and now includes site development, infrastructure utilities, heavy highway construction, and asphalt and concrete paving. The company continues to grow and has put an aggressive market plan into place for continued expansion. Today Daisy Construction company is ranked nationally as one of the top 600 specialty contractors by Engineering News-Record. In addition we have been honored with numerous awards for our safety program and the Excellence in Construction Award. The company has amassed a large fleet of vehicles, 175 pieces of heavy construction equipment and 200 employees and is affiliated with two asphalt and two concrete transit plants. Our market base presently covers southeastern Pennsylvania, the State of Delaware and Maryland with an annual gross revenue of over $30 million. In the future we anticipate establishing another office to better serve new clients in the state of Maryland.
